On 14 March 2026, the World Sleep Day is organised worldwide by the World Sleep Society, intended to raise awareness of the importance of healthy sleep and sleep quality. This day invites organisations to reflect on the impact of sleep deprivation and to explore ways in which a good night’s rest contributes to mental wellbeing, productivity and a sustainable work culture.
Sleep is a fundamental need that is as essential as nutrition and physical exercise. Yet about one third of Belgians regularly struggle with sleep problems, affecting energy, concentration and mental health. By making sleep a topic for discussion and providing practical tools, we can prevent sleep deprivation and counter stress and burnout. Source: Gezond Leven
