10 Days of Mental Health

From 1 to 10 October, Flanders reflects on the importance of mental health during the 10 Days of Mental Health. Under the motto “Together Resilient,” this period focuses on connection, awareness, and strengthening our mental well-being.

Too often we tend to only talk about mental health when things are not going well. The 10 Days invite us to change that: by investing preventively in well-being and resilience. Because the stronger our mental foundation, the better we can cope with setbacks.

The 10 Days also lead up to 10 October – World Mental Health Day, a day when worldwide attention is called to mental well-being and the challenges that come with it.
